Candace graduated with a Bachelor of Science, majored in Biology from Marquette University, and completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Marquette University in 2002. She has experiences in Family Practice and Dermatology. Prior to joining the Great Lakes Dermatology family, Candace spent six years working in the Dermatology department at the Aurora Wilkinson Medical Clinic.

Candace provides medical dermatology services for adult and pediatric patients, and provides care in our Pleasant Prairie, Milwaukee, and Franklin offices.

Great Lakes Dermatology welcomed John Claussen, PA-C to Great Lakes Dermatology in October 2011. John is a Certified Physician Assistant with over 20 years of experience as a PA. For the last seven years, John worked at Septon Dermatology is Libertyville, Illinois. John’s patient philosophy is to provide the very best patient care by listening to his patients closely, explaining clearly the treatment option or plan and being highly personable yet professional.
Prior to his career in dermatology, John worked in several other specialties including primary care, urgent care and endocrinology. John received his undergraduate degree from George Washington University and completed his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is also a retired US Navy veteran. John sees patients in our Kenosha and Pleasant Prairie clinics.
